How this stays fair: the shuffle is driven by the Web Crypto API (
crypto.getRandomValues), not Math.random() — every entry gets a genuinely equal, unbiased chance. Duplicate detection matches exact text, so if the same person commented with different wording each time, paste just their username on one line for reliable deduplication. “Use my followers list” pulls in everyone who follows you, not just people who actually entered this giveaway — that’s the right pool for a “giveaway open to all followers,” but for a comment-to-enter giveaway, paste just the people who actually commented instead.Before you run this giveaway: Meta requires published official rules (eligibility, deadline, how a winner is chosen, “No Purchase Necessary,” “Void Where Prohibited”) at a permanent public URL, and its exact release disclaimer in your post or official rules. “Tag yourself in a photo you’re not in” is explicitly banned as an entry mechanic — follow-to-enter and comment-to-enter are fine.
